Ad un anno di distanza dal weekend allo stadio di Wembley che ha segnato la storia, i Blur pubblicano un nuovo album live dal titolo «Live atWembley Stadium» il 26 luglio 2024 su etichetta Parlophone. «Live atWembley Stadium» è una raccolta di canzoni catturate durante le due indimenticabili serate dell’estate scorsa -i più grandi show degli oltre 30 anni di carriera della band -che hanno visto Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James e Dave Rowntreeesibirsi di fronte ad oltre 150.000 fan allo stadio di Wembley, la prima volta in assoluto che i Blur hanno suonato nell’iconica venuedi Londra. Gli straordinari ed emozionanti show di sabato 8 e domenica 9 luglio 2023 hanno catturato “…un senso di importanza epocale[Financial Times]” e “…hanno sprigionato l’energia vibrante di una band al suo apice [EveningStandard]. Tra i brani di spicco figurano «The Narcissist» e «St Charles Square» tratti dall’ultimo album “The Ballad of Darren”, che ha debuttato direttamente alla posizione #1 della classifica Album in UK, oltre a «There’sNo OtherWay», «Popscene», «Beetlebum», «TrimmTrabb», «Villa Rosie», «Coffee & TV», «Under the Westway», «Out of Time», «To the End», «Parklife», «Song 2», «Thisisa Low», «Girls & Boys», «Tender» e «The Universal».
