Def Leppard “Pyromania” (Super Deluxe 4 Cd + Bluray)
Per celebrare il 40° anniversario dell’uscita dell’album Pyromania, Def Leppard pubblicano il 26 Aprile 2024 una nuova edizione super deluxe ampliata, PYROMANIA 40. Originariamente uscito nel 1983, Pyromania lanciò i Def Leppard nell’olimpo del Rock, l’album comprende brani come ‘Photograph’, ‘Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)’ e “Rock of Ages” che sono diventati hit globali. Pyromania è inoltre diventato uno dei rock album più venduti di sempre ed il suo seguito, Hysteria, ha posizionato i Def Leppard tra le prime cinque rock band ad avere due album con più di 10 milioni di copie vendite solo negli USA. L’album è anche il primo con Phil Collen alla chitarra al posto di Pete Willis, il primo quindi con la classica line up dei Def Leppard. Per questo capolavoro la nuova super deluxe edition è stata coordinata dal lead singer Joe Elliott e da Ronan McHugh con il mastering affidato ad Andy Pearce. L’edizione 4CD/Blu-Ray comprende l’album originale rimasterizzato sul primo CD, il secondo CD con demo inediti scelti da Joe Elliott e due concerti sui CD 3 e 4, uno registrato al Forum di Los Angeles e uno alla Westfalen Halle di Dortmund. Il Blu-Ray contiene l’Atmos mix dell’album (a cura di Giles Martin) ed i mix 5.1 / Stereo e strumentali. Sono anche inclusi 5 video clip promo del periodo. Il libro allegato contiene la storia del disco scritta dal giornalista di Mojo e Classic Rock Paul Elliott (che ha anche intervistato per l’occasione membri della band), oltre a rare immagini e foto di Ross Halfin.
